Align-a-Time("we", "us", or "our") operates the Align-a-Time iOS application and the website at https://www.alignatime.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information we collect

• Poll creators (iOS app): When you sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymous user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email. We store polls you create and optional notification preferences.
• Voters (web): We collect the display name you enter and your availability votes. We use a browser token to let you update your votes without creating an account.
• Technical data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your information

• Provide poll creation, voting, and results display
• Send optional email or push notifications to poll creators
• Prevent abuse and maintain service reliability
• Improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not require voters to create accounts
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising

Data storage & security

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to creator data is protected by authentication. Public poll and vote data is accessible to anyone with the poll link, by design.

Data retention

Polls remain available until deleted by the creator. You may request deletion of your account and associated polls by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@alignatime.com.

Children

Align-a-Time is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
